My journey with ROTARY INTERNATIONAL began in 1991 as a young rotaractor part of Rotary Down Town as the charter member. Did phenomenal work during my younger days. Became a rotarian in 2003-4 at rotary High Grounds then shifted over to Rotary bangalore yelahanka thanks to rtn Ashok Shanbhag. Under Rtn Pallipadi Radhakrishna presidency went on to launch signature projects like Make Dreams real; project parivartan- community change; project green glow for schools; project g rama nava chetna; Project higgina buggi for blind school etc. My exposure to the scope of change and development became boundlessness. In 2011 managed to bring together rotary India and Rotary Japan together with over 160 Rotatrians and Rotaractors from DIST 3190 being sponsored to Tokyo on my behalf. Got to interact with the then RI PRESIDENT Rtn Kalyan Banerjee and incoming RI PRESIDENT ELECT Rtn Sakuji Tanaka. 5000 people converged at Japan. Since then have gone on a very exciting journey. Gandhi talked frequently about the role of business as being that of a trustee or a steward for what you hold. Gandhi’s view of trusteeship was based on the belief that we do not really ‘ow...

The energy to drive and realize the goal is something that keeps changing and raising the bar in performance that slowly after a period in time starts to engulf the space all around. But before this happens the energy is potentially captive in the dormant mode and in restive stage. Deep inside it’s incubating itself in the womb of time to flower at the right time and glow. But till then when energies are coming together often there is self doubts and judgmental perceptions that seems to be so overpowering that it makes one feel so insecure in anxiety and yet the bond of the INTENT keeps us going further and further. Without losing the sight of the INTENT on the landscape if we keep moving often the unseen and unimaginable potential can be unlocked when the energies all confluence together in synergic embrace on oneness. Some kind of deep contentment and deep satisfaction emerges dispelling all the fears and anxiety to a beautiful place where possibilities are galore and everyt...
