Vision Karnataka Foundation is a non political organization and we do not support any party.

We are a Think Tank group with diverse competencies and aggregating the implementation of social impact initiatives that is strategically designed for suiting the period of 2020 to 2040 as a vision

We believe in the period of 2020 to 2040 India has been compelled by the external environment around the globe to look inward and LOCK DOWN the Indian economy from the negative effects of the ageing world. The dispute between USA and China will impact the economy further.

Hence we have to strengthen Karnataka economy

Karnataka is 10 years ahead in Asia as an innovation hub and knowledge industry know how.

We need to take this success story of Bangalore as both educational Corridor and knowledge

Corridor for innovation to the next level via the Districts of Karnataka state.

Hence Karnataka will become the critical driving force in India that can be emulated by other

states

What we need to do

Boost local economies based on local skill sets ;local demand; local resources at district level

Create it with people centric and labour intensive technologies

Work on building innovation as a solution to complex

problem statements locally . Encourage creative problem solving solution with design thinking. This is to re purpose and pivot the central theme of people life style and business ideas

Create innovation solutions for GLOBAL VALUE CHAIN

Locally. Like what used to be at TIRPUR in TN .Similarly the supply chain locally for gradually global village.

Agriculture Corridor for building an agrarian society blending with a new interdependent local economy of food processing and supply chain side by side with boosting micro enterprises.

47 million surplus youth population in 2020 without jobs; another 150 million unemployed

and displaced due to the Corona pandemic have to be rewired and re engaged with a new story board

This is a unique situation only for India as against the rest of the world. Let's reboot our

economy let's reboot our Society.Let's rebuild

the nation with inclusive measures and accommodate our fellow farmers ; artisans; labour workforce; the self help groups; aganwadi workers; social entrepreneurs; women centric community based livelihood; micro business owners; the Corona warriors ; teachers and all the pillars of a people driven , people centric revolution

 

That 80% of the population we have neglected will now lead this revolution in the fore front.

Focus has shifted from metros to towns and villages.

 

The Metros will be driven by 4.0 industrial revolution. The rest of India will be driven by Social innovation and Community based Entrepreneurship.

 

Let education institutions be the Launch pad for FORCED ENTREPRENEURSHIP and Innovation (the need for job creators and not seekers )

 

Each taluk each district in Karnataka must reverberate with this Slogan of " namma samudhaaya abhiruddhi , namma kutumbha abhiruddhi "

 

Creating wealth at the bottom of the pyramid will lead to a healthy sustainable nation. No dependence on FDI driven model but self reliant ; self sustaining; Circular economic Demand as the way forward in community based ownership.

 

We have now been compelled to shift into innovation driven model as the new Avatar emerging out of the Investment Driven economic growth.

 

Every day ask ourselves

What have I done today to contribute to the local economy .

2.    2.Did I buy a local product ? Local service

3.    Am I responsible to the business in my neighbourhood; next door; next street; in my village; in my town ; in my city ?

Well What can I say, this was a researched topic that I had first published in 2009 post 2008 global recession in  NOWPUBLIC.com . A media publication portal which now seems defunct and closed. The red shirt movement in Thailand that started in 2007 was the first sign then gradually that alerted the world on the overheated conditions of the societies across the globe and the pressure that was gradually altering the nature of the communities burdened by the disparity in the income and excessive expenditure.
