Training In the Jungles (OUTBOUND PROGRAMME)

In the last one year I have taken MBA graduates to the wilderness for outbound training programme.This comprises of an early morning trekking into the jungles of Bannergetta (Bangalore)and visual treat of the wild herbivorous animals .The carnivorous are kept enclosed. The fear of unknown and the thought of being on their own in small teams really bring forth the leadership qualities and enhance their team ability. Taking them away from their glamorous environment into the basic survival environment breaks all barriers of hierarchy and conceptions of age. The physical endurance is also put to test as they have to forget the easy luxuries of office comforts and go through a vigorous workout .This gives them a well earned good sleep at the end of the day and drives away the depressions and negative energy. HR Leadership

The panel discussion arranged by Dale Carnegie and Business world on 30th august 2006 was well received by the audience comprising of CEOs, senior HR heads and academicians. It was more of a collective experience which the participants were able to share and harvest by absorbing in the best practices in each others organizations and perhaps even solutions to the issues that they may be encountering everyday ay the work place. Some of the highlights Value driven: an organization that has focused on core values goes a long way where as those who don’t, make a lot of splash but sink without notice very quickly. Its important today that people are respected individually and the extent of the well being of the organization has depends on its care quotient .Not just being profit driven but build on core values. Keeping our environment clean

INDIA a country with great diversity and rich in flora and fauna .Added to this is our rich cultural diversity that has created several tourist spots and people all over the world flock to drown in its beauty. Often one is greeted with a familiar sight at most of these places which are of plastics bags scattered and packed food wrappers flying and floating around with Pepsi /colas tin cans carelessly discarded. At times we find liquor cans and bottles and even condoms all accumulated over a period of time . They are so hardened over the period of time that they almost seem to merger with the vegetation. Once it was so painful to see a hungry cow devouring grass which was covered with the non degradable wastage and gradually in its urgency to satisfy its hunger swallowed a lot of plastic material.I wondered what would become of it now...........after a few days I happen to visit the wild life sanctuary at Bannergetta at Bangalore.I was in tears to see that an innocent looking d
