Managing Change - Is the leadership transparent ? An insight

Image
We all talk about Change and display a whole lot of models and approaches. Its now evidently an open fact that Change management is in full-force across all industries, yet many leaders are unprepared to act upon and operationalize the requirements for change to avoid business disruption. For many organizations, preparedness begins at the top and this means that Leadership – across all levels – must have absolute clarity in purpose and focus; there also must be alignment in strategic philosophy and resolution goals. Unfortunately, many organizations are slow to change as the internal politics makes it difficult to reach consensus across all levels of leadership – even when the necessity for change is urgent. This is why many companies unknowingly lose momentum as they fail to change fast enough — allowing the marketplace and competitors to pass them by.  The result: valuable time is misspent, resources applied and money invested without the required outcomes to stay competitiv

Well What can I say, this was a researched topic that I had first published in 2009 post 2008 global recession in  NOWPUBLIC.com . A media publication portal which now seems defunct and closed. It's a question that women often ask themselves but are frightened to ask their partners lest it becomes a reality. Once a woman gets a whiff of trouble, that becomes the most dominant thought on her mind. Does he love me? Is he losing interest? Is there someone else? We have asked ourselves one of these questions at least once. And with live-in couples things can get more complicated. People with a fairly traditional upbringing still look for legal security. Probably that's the reason why married couples going through troubled times take solace in the fact that they have something probably more tangible in the form of legal and societal sanction for their relationship. Unmarried couples may keep a certain door open for things not working out. Or maybe they don't often come face-to-face with their true deep fears before marriage fearing a break-up.

For 4 years tried so many ways to make a difference to the police department with the Project Parivartan that now has already crossed over 1 lakh people  recipients across India. What started as an intent to reach out to the people and energize the population to channelize the discontentment, frustration and anger emerging from the rapid changing environment and living spaces out of the cultural clashes, social conformity to a more energized and constructive effort in being change in action..today has reached a new frontier with the Police Force The changing times calls for different role to be played and demands a more pro-active ability to comprehend and deal with people engagement.
