Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) Award

My journey with ROTARY INTERNATIONAL began in 1991 as a young rotaractor part of Rotary Down Town as the charter member. Did phenomenal work during my younger days. Became a rotarian in 2003-4 at rotary High Grounds then shifted over to Rotary bangalore yelahanka thanks to rtn Ashok Shanbhag. Under Rtn Pallipadi Radhakrishna presidency went on to launch signature projects like Make Dreams real; project parivartan- community change; project green glow for schools; project grama nava chetna; Project higgina buggi for blind school etc.
My exposure to the scope of change and development became boundlessness. In 2011 managed to bring together rotary India and Rotary Japan together with over 160 Rotatrians and Rotaractors from DIST 3190 being sponsored to Tokyo on my behalf. Got to interact with the then RI PRESIDENT Rtn Kalyan Banerjee and incoming RI PRESIDENT ELECT Rtn Sakuji Tanaka. 5000 people converged at Japan. Since then have gone on a very exciting journey.
In 2014-15 as the president of my home club Rotary Bangalore YELAHANKA I went through transformational lessons...things that I never learnt in corporate and professional life in people management.
Always shied away from awards and honours as it corrupts the mind and massages the EGO.
I am truly honoured and flattered with this PAUL HARRIS FELLOW recognition signed by the Rotary international PRESIDENT Rtn Ian Risley himself. PHF is a global recognition and I am touched !!!! Feeling like a child after being appreciated in the school assembly by the principal.... thankyou Rotary Bangalore Yelahanka and thankyou DISTRICT GOVERNOR Rtn Asha Prasanna Kumar . A transformational and a very grounded leader .It's really an honour to receive it from her at the Governors Official Visit on March 3rd 2018
